Glacier Farm
A project in partnership with the Crested Butte Land Trust.
The Glacier Community Farm is a collaborative vision from the Crested Butte Land Trust and the Gunnison Valley community to meet immediate food needs and to model working lands conservation through agriculture. We’re bringing this project to life with an agricultural lease from the Crested Butte Land Trust on the farm home site. This exciting project began in 2020 by breaking ground on a one-third acre of garden beds and producing 300 lbs. of food in two short months. In 2021, the production space doubled and our farm team helped cultivate healthy soil to maximize yields of the space. The food grown at the Glacier Farm goes to our Community Supported Agriculture boxes (CSA).
